You fail to see the signifigance of dizzy’s coiffure – it’s a tribute to the dying breed of great hairstyle’s on australian cricketers i.e. Merv Hughes, Colin miller, Denis Lillee. And a statement to those immaculately groomed metrosexuals on the field. It’s a culturally symbolic event for australian sport.

I too am quite fond of Dizzy’s mullet (and by the way the ‘t’ is silent). I was considering modeling my own hair on this magnificent specimen. In fact I mentioned this to a collegue the other day, to which his response was “What hair? “, so today I’m off to get a hair cut more appealing to Mrs P….. mmm will I go blond again.
