More photo pages

More photo album pages to come today. I leave it as an exercise for the reader to find out what has changed. If I was you I would approach it as a whole voyage of discovery.

Whilst everyone else in the world is enjoying their Christmas break I have been at work for the last two days. Its looking like I will have to pop in over the weekend as well.

On the good news front though, we are off to Reeve mansions this evening for another episode of ‘the wine game’ and (good grief) some karaoke. Still, I have stated that I will only sing ‘Cool for Cats’ by Squeeze. Of course, they will just fill me full of vino and point me at the microphone – if anyone can wrest it from Bobo’s hands of course.

I’ve started what may be

I’ve started what may be the slowest web site re-design in history. I’ve never been over the moon with the look of this web site so I decided to do something about it.

I like the look of this blog, and so with a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to Eliza Wee (whose design formed the basis of the new look) I am slowing adapting the other pages on this site to use it. The first cabs off the rank are the completely frivolous stacker page and the mildly educational links page.

I will update the other pages as and when the muse strikes me. In other words, don’t hold your breath.

Content Free

I’m still content (and inspiration) free. Which is a bit of a shame this close to Christmas, and isn’t helped by the fact that I can look out of the office window and see bright sunshine and a blue sky.

Still, I have managed to put some new CDs in my car. Can you tell which ones have changed?

More quality quotes

More quality quotes from the lovely people at The Quotations Page. First, the serious;

Isaac Newton. “If I have seen farther than others, it is because I was standing on the shoulders of giants.”

Blaise Pascal. “Since we cannot know all that there is to be known about anything, we ought to know a little about everything.”

Followed by the frivolous;

Groucho Marx. “Those are my principles, and if you don’t like them… well, I have others.”

Ellen DeGeneres . “My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was sixty. She’s ninety-seven now, and we don’t know where the hell she is.”

I don’t want to write

I don’t want to write anything today. I’m too tired and too grumpy. Remind me to explain what the last few weeks of a project are like when I’ve survived the go-live on this one.

In the meantime have a look at what Mark Pilgrim has written today. Its definitely more interesting than what I’ve got to say at the moment.

What, more?

What, more? Blimey, I’m excelling myself today. .

Anyway, another quality quote has just dropped into my lap and I thought I should share it;

“One word sums up probably the responsibility of any vice president, and that one word is ‘to be prepared’.” – Dan Quayle.

If you are in the slightest bit interested where these pithy quotes come from, I’d suggest you have a look at Quote of the Day.
