Today, I am mostly listening to;
- Something old – Steely Dan’s Gaucho
- Something new – Sleepy Jackson’s Lovers
- Something not so much borrowed, as polished – the remastered version of Marillion’s Afraid of Sunlight
Other things that have brought a smile to my face recently are the croutons from Delia’s mixed leaf ceasar salad and my beloved’s elevation to the copper committee (she is number 932 if you’re that bothered).
Mental note to self, stop using quite as many apostrophes.
WTF is a ‘copper committee’?
Sir, if you do not listen to Mr Danny Baker on BBC Radio London in the mornings then you are sadly misguided and certainly under-entertained.
It is wihtout a shadow of a doubt the best show on the radio since Round At Chris’ on GLR in the early/mid 90’s.
Mr T (seems as though I am talking to myself – ha ha) can you answer the question? i.e. what is the copper committee. And, seeing as I do not have the means to listen to Mr Danny Baker, I feel you ought to tell us.
My good people, this is the web. Click on the hyperlink and all will be revealed.
I did. It wasn’t.
Ah well, I don’t *really* care. I’m a Radio 4 man myself, and will be until I die.
