In a break from our advertised policy and due to the fact that her indoors is being a slacker, a baby update. We went for another scan this morning and I’m happy to report that all is well with junior.
The little one is the right size and shape and is developing well. We have to go back for one more scan in about six weeks to check growth, but that will be it.
One thing to note is that the Todd family always have big babies, and bod is shaping up to continue that tradition. Bobo didn’t believe me but the graph they put up this morning shows that our little package could well pop out at around the four kilogram mark (thats over nine pounds in old money). Ouch.
Aside from impending nappy duties, life continues pretty much as normal. The weather is quite nice, work is still rubbish and I still need to lose about ten kilograms.
But that doesn’t matter. No sirree. Why? Well, all is right in the world again, because Goughie is back in the England team.
Lets just hope I haven’t spoken too soon and that he actually makes it onto the pitch this time.
It appears England has abondoned their traditional method of selecting a team based on form, perhaps beacuse there are no cricket players in England who can be said to have “form, and replaced it with some form of lottery system while including a token broken down old fart (no metions of S. Waugh, thank you very much).
To show how forward thinking some county teams are It was rumoured for a while that the venravle Phil Tufnell would be replaced (temporarily anyway) by John Embury who is 50+ at MIddlesex while Phil was off on a game show!!
