  • A little light distraction

    March 11, 2014

If you have a little spare time you could do worse than watch (and listen to) this amazing episode of “Live from Daryl’s House”. http://www.livefromdarylshouse.com/currentep.html?ep_id=72 The Daryl in question was once half of Hall and Oates and here he is playing a few tunes with Rumer. If you haven’t got much time just skip forward to their version of “No Can Do”, it is amazing.

Alex is going to a new school next year. He took and passed an exam and will be attending the opportunity class at Balgowlah Heights Public School. As a reward for passing the exam and getting into what we call clown school he choose as his reward to go for a Segway tour around Newington Armoury. Here you can see the assembled intrepid adventurers on their sturdy steeds. I can report that we all survived.

  • Two Growing Boys - September 2013

    October 8, 2013

I forgot to take a picture of the boys in the depths of winter. Now Spring has sprung and they are dusting off the t-shirts and shorts. Sometimes they even put down the video game controllers and leave the house. Sometimes. I will have to clear out the shed soon and dig out the summer equipment. Boogie boards will be top of the list and hopefully they won’t be insisting on super thick wet suits before jumping in the surf.
