  • Giving Blood

    July 28, 2022

I haven’t been able to donate blood since I moved to Australia in 1996. The restrictions were lifted in the last month so today was my first donation to the Australian Red Cross. It’s something we should all be doing every 3 months.

A great night watching Sammy J at the Sydney Comedy Festival tonight followed by a curry and a couple of cheeky beers. Proper Saturday night fun.

  • Jervis Bay March 2022

    March 16, 2022

Our annual family friendly trip to Jervis Bay was a little different this year. Mainly because none of the families had any children with them. A good time was had by all, and we decided that next year we are going upmarket.

  • Lockdown Swim 28th September

  • Lockdown Walk 9th September

    September 9, 2021

  • Lockdown Walk 23rd July

    July 23, 2021

A break from the routine today. Even though squad training isn’t allowed under our current COVID restrictions we are allowed 2 people on court at a time. So I booked a lesson with my coach and he made me run around like a loony for an hour.

  • Lockdown Walk 17th July

    July 22, 2021

A picture from a walk I took because it was a no tennis Saturday. It’s not a bad consolation.

  • Lockdown Walk 20th July

    July 22, 2021

A little cold this morning, and there was a wall of cloud a few kilometres offshore. It’s quite common for the weather to be completely different on the shore from even this short distance into the sea.

  • Lockdown Walk 21st July

    July 22, 2021

A very different early morning colour palette today as a cold front from the South decided to spoil the fair winter weather party.

  • Lockdown Walk 22nd July

A tree, an emerging ball of fire, what more can you want?
