After a short break the daily photo is back. During my hiatus I spent a week in Thailand with SWMBO and JFGP. They rather enjoyed it. I got rather wet. As this picture illustrates.
Some advice for potential travellers; check the seasonal weather forecast before booking your holiday. Going to Phuket in the rainy season is not nearly as much fun as when the sun is shining – or so I’m told.
There was no need to send us a sample of the rain last week. the pation flooded because the drains could not take it fast enough. there are many other parts of the world who would have been please to receive such a gift. I was sent up to the roof of the conservatory on saturday to repair a couple of leaks. Mrs P said there were torrents coming into the room during the storm. In truth there were just a couple of drips . ( And I thought they had emeigrated!)
